Powerful Owl
About our flora and fauna in the Lane Cove Golf Course Parklands

The powerful owl is a beautiful bird that can be found in the Lane Cove Golf Course area. The powerful owl is an amazing creature but is endangered. If the golf course valley is disturbed by the development in the DA many owls in the area will be lost forever.

The golf course valley is a critical part of our river system. To carve out the side of the valley with a large building (plus the add-ons such as air conditioning units, ducts etc) will have devastating environmental consequences for the river system and the wild life that depends on that life line. What we can not quantify is the priceless effect that this green pace has on our day to day living in terms of the air we breathe, the sounds we hear from the wild life, the landscape views and overall well being this beautiful pristine valley brings to our community.
We need to save this precious piece of landscape in one piece before it is gone.
